Individuals &

Couples

The first decade of my clinical work focused on child, family, individual and couples therapy with a diverse range of clients. I’ve since worked with teens, parents/couples, college students/emerging professionals, mid-late career adults and retirees, all adjusting to life now in the “post-vaccine world”, AKA “the post-covid, new normal”, as they define and experience it.

More recently, I’ve begun seeing adult individuals who are currently in Ketamine/esketamine treatment (and those seeking to process past expanded states or journeywork) for Preparation/Integrative psychotherapy and Risk/Harm Reduction, to more deeply explore,  optimize potential and sustain benefits in daily life.

Group Therapy

In March of 2023, I launched Grove Integration, in collaboration with co-facilitator, Dr. Daniel Irby, MD to offer group integration support “for Meaning-Making from the Paradoxical to the Ineffable and the in-between…” (K.Cohn 2023)

This intimate group experience is ideal for anyone in Ketamine/esketamine treatment, or those wishing to process past journey experiences.

New groups forming approximately every 6-8 weeks. Details here.

Coming soon…

Grove Preparation: Entering the Paradoxical Playspace for KAP Inquiry and Anxiety      Launching Fall of 2023, this embodied practice is for anyone curious about the expansive-state process, from legal, non-medicated methods like Breathwork, Improv and past journeywork or other peak experiences, to KAP (Ketamine/esketamine), the only currently legal psychedelic treatment.

Professional Consultation

With over 15 years experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, (and credentialed as a Registered Drama Therapist since 2005 and a Board Certified Trainer since 2009), I provide professional consultation and practice support to BBS licensees and drama/expressive arts therapists.

Professional case consultation is ideal for those seeking to enhance their current practice with more creative interventions or expand their clinical repertoire.

As a former Ethics Chair, with over 10 years’ service on Ethics Committees with professional organizations, I support those seeking clinical consult on case formulation, treatment planning/treatment, processing of in-situ experience and exploration of ethical best practices in a welcoming and stimulating format.
